Musicians' Alliance for Peace

Join Music for Peace Project 2007: March 30 - April 1

So here is how it's done:

1. Collect your musicians, dancers or any other sort of performance artists. (1 is enough! More are great, too.)

2. Plan a concert between March 30 - April 1 and have the date, time, and location ready to continue. (It can be a preexisting concert during the 3 days if you're willing to dedicate it to this cause. It can be anywhere: Indoors, outdoors, in a corporate lobby, in a university student center, in a class room, an auditorium . . .)

3. Tell us. (This is an important one.) It takes around a minute to fill out the form below. We will add it to our web site, posters and press releases and make sure everyone all across the world knows what you are doing.

This is only for concerts between March 30 and April 1. If you have a concert some other date that you want to be affiliated with Musicians' Alliance for Peace, list it here.

If you cannot find your COUNTRY please send an e-mail to us (click here) with a subject of location, and include the changes needed, and we'll update you on our roster.

4. Play. Have fun and display our poster or your own letting those listening know that this is a concert for peace and one of multitudes! Click Here (or go to: http://m4p.org/m4poster.pdf) to download our poster and feel free to copy it as much as you would like.

5. If you want to do more: Contact a local peace organization and ask them to co-sponsor the event. They may be able to help advertise, speak at the event and spread the word.

6. Again, if you want to do a little more: Contact your local newspapers, radio, and TV. Let them know what you are doing and ask them to cover it. Three or four phone calls is all it takes.

Last but not least, spread the word. You can download a letter on how to join from our download page that you can forward to your friends and family.

All the best in the hope for a more peaceful and just world,

The Musicians' Alliance for Peace

"In music our deafened lives may regain a sense of inward motion and temperance of individual being, and our societies something of a lost vision of human accord."
